Why do we need a sign to tell us there is a new sign?
Over-signage seems to be a trend. We somehow have gotten to the point of redundancy to the detriment of understandability. The question is when does too much information detract from the needed communication? When do signs become "invisible?" Well, more quickly than the engineers think.
